Tanzania Diaspora Initiative (TDI) Tanzania Diaspora Initiative (TDI) was founded in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 2012. A partnership registered under The Business Names (Registration) Act (Cap. 213). The organization was conceived by individuals who sought to organize the Tanzanian Diaspora to effectively assist in the social and economical development of Tanzania and Tanzanians throughout the world. T-Diaspora is managed by volunteers from various backgrounds who operate using the generous donations from members and sponsors.
Tanzania Diaspora Initiative – A Network that will allow for Tanzanians from all backgrounds to connect and engage with one another, grow and possibly learn from each other.
The Institution strives to be the unified voice and power of the Diaspora which is directly involved in the development of our communities all over the world.
TDI serves as the focal point, bridge and hub for the implementation of the government of the United Republic of Tanzania’s blue print Vision 2025 and its decision to invite and encourage the Tanzanian Diaspora to participate in the building and development of their home country. In line and with the view of enhancing the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Policy framework, TDI serves as a catalyst for rebuilding the global Tanzanian family in the service of the development and integration agenda of the country.
